Estate Planning

We have experience with all aspects of estate planning including simple and more complex last wills and testaments; special and general powers of attorney; living wills and advance directives; revocable (living) trusts, irrevocable trust and special needs trust agreements; inter vivos (during life) gift transactions, family entity planning and charitable bequests.

We also handle estate administration matters representing personal representatives, estate beneficiaries and estate creditors. This includes matters before local Registers of Wills and Orphans Courts.

The duties of personal representatives and trustees include compelling fiduciary responsibilities to many others. We assist our clients with sensitivity to addressing those profound duties and responsibilities.

Although we are not tax experts, we are capable of assisting with basic Federal, State and local estate and inheritance tax planning and compliance. We welcome the opportunity to work with our client’s accountants. We can also make appropriate referrals to accountants with whom we already have working relationships.
